The artists in this show make abstract paintings with rigor and precision. They utilize extreme craftsmanship as a tool, which results in the type of exactitude that one would likely find in a scientific lab or a philosopher’s notebook. The eye-popping exhibition features Sarah Walker, Nate Ethier, and the artist duo, Anoka Faruqee and David Driscoll.

Performative Stories

In the interplay between narrative and physical form, some objects offer what can be described as performative stories: narratives told through physical movement as well as words or images.

Performative Stories will feature multidisciplinary artists Dan Hurlin and Maiko Kikuchi; experimental filmmaker Janie Geiser; and photographer Jason Gardner.

Wild Leaves

The show’s title, derived from the Patti Smith poem, Wild Leaves, speaks to the vital regenerative energy of nature, a theme which unites the work of the artists Yura Adams, Katie DeGroot, Maggie Nowinski, and Jacqueline Qiu.
